If you are receiving a "waiting for network connection" message, this means the TransitBox is not reaching our server. First, unplug and replug the TransitBox. If this does not solve the problem after a few minutes, here are a few things to check:
1. Are you running on WiFi? If so, we recommend switching to an Ethernet connection. If this is not feasible, a dedicated WiFi network would be helpful. To make sure your TransitBox is connected to the correct network, plug in any USB keyboard or mouse to access the settings page. Make sure WiFi is on and Ethernet is off. Click on WiFi to enable the wireless connection, select your network, and enter any password if required.
2. Are you running on Ethernet? If so, plug in any USB keyboard or mouse to access the settings page. Make sure WiFi is off and Ethernet is on. Make sure your Ethernet cable is fully plugged in — to both the device and the power source.
Otherwise, there may be an issue with a firewall in your network settings. It is possible your network administrator may need to whitelist some ports and MAC addresses. Feel free to cc them on an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, and we can provide that information for you.
